The Ember Blight comes from the Heart of Ordrak (evil being that lived under the town of Torchlight during the first game) and the Alchemist is using its power to disturb the worlds balance. The Alchemist, a class playable in the first Torchlight, becomes corrupted with Ember Blight and attacks the town of Torchlight a few years after the end of the original. You can then improve skills by adding more points to it, reaching a new 'tier' of skills every five points. Fame is rewarded to you by killing bosses and completing quests. They are mainly found in tropical South America, with one species in Central America. To use skills you have to put skill points into it them, these are gained by leveling up and your obtianing 'fame'. Despite the fact that one can learn to discern a brown recluse from almost all spiders in 5 seconds, I have seen harmless 8-eyed spiders that were misidentified as brown recluses by 1) 3 different physicians, 2) an entomologist and 3) a pest control person.

Ordrak breaks free and defeats the other two heroes, incapacitating you and slaying the Mage in battle. 3 heroes gathered to defeat him but even in death, his corrupt heart endured and called out, infesting one of the heroes, the Alchemist. They are very rare and are generally more powerful than enchanted (green), rare (blue), and unique (gold) items. A darkness gathered beneath Torchlight, called Ordrak. Legendary items are color-coded red/orange and have specific names and enchantments. In Torchlight 2, skills are in trees and more become available to unlock as you level up throughout the game. Equipment with a Legendary status are introduced in Torchlight II and have the highest class of item quality in the game.
Torchlight II has four classes to play the game with, Each class has its own charge bar this meens when you have a number of charges you can utilize special bonuses
